“When people ask me what equipment I use – I tell them my eyes.”
I have always had an interest in cameras and pictures, but never seriously, other than that photos gave me memories of places I've been and events that were going on. Where did this interest come from? Not really sure. It could have been from my mom, who kept many heritage photo albums of the family from back in the 1940's, maybe even the 1930's. I no longer can remember, and those photo albums are gone - lost in the flood of 1972 in Wyoming Valley, Pennsylvania. I still grieve the loss of those family photos, because at the time, I was young and I guess I took them for granted. I remember looking at them, all secured with their photo corners on black album pages, with names and dates written for each one!!! What a treasure! What a loss!
My journey into professional photography began with an interest in nature and wildlife photography, and while l enjoy mingling with God's wilder creations, I have found that I love photographing people most of all, and I have evolved into concentrating on being a people and commerical photographer.
I am home-based in Spring, Texas and available for on-location assignments.
More recently has been my journey into commercial photography, and, after a long absence from fine art, I have re-begun to offer fine art photography and have had exhibits at several locations.
I am a member of Professional Photographers of America, Texas Professional Photographers Association and Professional Photographers Guild of Houston, the Spring Klein Chamber of Commerce and Greater Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
